2012-2013 WIGA Officers Elected  

The Washington Indian Gaming Association recently announced the election of officers and Executive Committee members for 2012-2013.  

The four officers include the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary and the Executive Committee includes, in addition, five at-large members. Members serve two-year terms and may be re-nominated for subsequent terms. 

At the November 22, 2011 Annual Meeting, the following Executive Committee members were elected: 

John Daniels, Jr., Position 7, (term expires November, 2013)

·        Delegate, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe  

Curt Holmes, Position 8, (term runs through November, 2013)

·         Councilman, Kalispel Tribal Council 

Andy Whitener, Position 9, (term runs through November, 2013)

·        Squaxin Island Tribal Council Treasurer 

Officers continuing to serve in their current terms are: 

W. Ron Allen, WIGA Chairman (to a two-year term ending November, 2012)

• Chairman of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe 

Leonard Forsman, WIGA Vice Chairman (to a two-year term ending November, 2012)

• Chairman of the Suquamish Tribe 

Cynthia Iyall, WIGA Treasurer, (to a two-year term ending November, 2012)

• Chairman of the Nisqually Tribal Council 

David Bean, WIGA Secretary, (to a two-year term ending November, 2012)

·        Councilman, Puyallup Tribal Council 

Jeromy Sullivan, Position 5, Executive Committee (two-year term ending November, 2012)

·        Chairman, Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe 

Brian Cladoosby, Position 6, Executive Committee (to a two-year term ending November, 2012)

·        Chairman, Swinomish Tribal Senate

The WIGA Officers and at-large members of the Executive Committee have the authority to act in interim periods when the full Board, composed of all active Tribal members, is not in session.
